Bio//

 

Riley Dune Levine focuses his poetic voice on creating illuminating short films and writing depicting the beauty and the brokenness of our world. He draws on a deep connection with nature and his insatiable curiosity as inspiration for his work.

 

Riley is a writer, director, and producer, currently pursuing a BFA in Film and Television Production at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. In addition to the myriad of short films that Riley writes, directs, produces, and collaborates on, he has also held internships and jobs at various companies. Most recently, he interned at Words + Pictures under award-winning producers. There, he assisted producers and editors with various tasks, pitched a feature film to company executives, completed master classes on industry-relevant topics, and executed on many assistant editor responsibilities. Riley also worked as a Digital Content Creator and Assistant for the Sundance Institute. There, he wrote and edited published articles and other content on film and television writing and how to create compelling stories. Additionally, at Sundance, he collaborated with upper-level teams to execute on their organizational needs and vision. He has also served as a production assistant for Radical Media and Smuggler, as well as a Creative Production/Development Intern at Mark Victor Productions. While there, he completed script coverage and researched/strategized the monetization of feature films and episodic content for various distributors, channels, and streaming services. 

 

Riley strives to create projects that push boundaries, address issues, compel people to see the world through new lenses, and impact their perspectives in positive ways.
